ENCAST Real-Time Data Section

Welcome to the operational StormSector ENCAST website. ENCAST stands for Enhanced Nowcast. Operational meteorologists use this data to determine short term forecast analysis and near future progression. SSENCAST was developed by Ben Alonzo, the StormSector managing engineer. Operational data includes regional and local plots of surface layer information including storm reports. Although the data is operational it must be used with caution and users should pay attention to time stamps as well as production times as these differ. Engineering updates will no longer be posted on the website as they are ongoing. Please report issues to the webmaster. StormSector images are available for broadcast and commercial use by advanced contract. For more information, please contact the manager here. Subject to the Disclaimer and Terms of Service.
